Rose & Chamomile Facial Serum (50ml)

$39.95

I get asked a lot are serums really necessary or are they just the “new black” and a way for companies to sell more products to us? And the answer is yes and yes (or as my youngest daughter would say yesn’t)… let me explain;

You use a serum on your face to deliver a high concentration of active ingredients to the skin to address particular issues or concerns like aging, dehydration, dullness and hyperpigmentation. Because of its smaller molecular structure a serum penetrates deeper into the skin than a moisturiser allowing to to provide visible and long-term results. So yes, they are most definitely a beneficial addition to your skincare routine.

However, some serums sell us a dream that is beyond the realms of what a serum is capable of and often include random ingredients that companies ask to pay an awful lot for simply because it sounds fancy.

I love serums for their versatility and the ability to formulate a product that directly addresses my client’s concerns in one easy to apply product. When I created my rose and chamomile serum, I wanted something that would hydrate the skin, help to protect the skin barrier as well as calm and soothe.

If you have any specific skincare concerns you would like to address feel free to use my Online Beauty Therapist form and we can discuss any ways in which I can provide a solution by formulating a serum just for you.

Key Ingredients

Rose

Provides a whole textbook of benefits for the face including powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that reduce signs of aging by smoothing texture, diminishing fine lines and boosting collagen production. It brightens the complexion, minimises dark circles and pigmentation and helps calm and nourish sensitive or irritated skin, making it beneficial for conditions like rosacea and eczema. Rose Oil hydrates the skin, restores moisture and helps to promote a radiant, even-toned glow.

Hyaluronic Acid

Benefits the face by providing intense, lasting hydration that plumps the skin and minimises the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It acts as a powerful humectant, drawing moisture into the skin and supporting its moisture barrier to reduce transeipdermal water loss. This leads to improved skin texture, increased suppleness, enhanced radiance and a smoother, firmer appearance.

Niacinamide

Also known as Vitamin B3, offers numerous benefits for your face including strengthening the skin barrier, reducing redness and inflammation, minimising pores, improving the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by boosting collage and fading dark spots and uneven skin tone. It also helps to balance oil production, provides antioxidant protection and is suitable for all skin types including sensitive.

How to Use

Apply to clean, damp skin after cleansing and toning and prior to eye balm and moisturiser. Dispense 1-2 pumps of serum onto fingertips, you can add more if you need it later as a little goes a long way, then gently press or massage the serum into your face and neck using light, upward strokes, allowing a few minutes to absorb. Follow with Eye Balm and Moisture Cream.

Ingredients

Chamomile Water, Niacinamide, Vegetable Glycerine, Rose Essential Oil, Hyaluronic Acid, Gluconolactone [and] Sodium Benzoate (preservative)
