Our Natural Deodorants
Natural deodorants is one of those debates that you’re either Pro or Con and there really isn’t any in between grey area. I was an absolute con for the longest time, I don’t like bicarb soda; it’s cheap but it irritates my skin, I can’t see the point to using anything that doesn’t work and most ‘natural’ deodorants either want you to smell like a new age store or simply don’t work, the fragrances are so heavy they may as well be called maskodorants and they all clash with my perfume that I wear on a daily basis.
I spent so many hours in the research phase before I came up with something I was happy with, I bought formulas and I created formulas and then I threw out formulas; it was becoming a very expensive exercise… until I finally landed on my current formula, all those hours of research finally paid off and I now have a very highly effective product that performs brilliantly in stick form doesn’t block the sweat glands or irritate the sensitive underarm skin. I was so excited when I finally nailed it that I did a little happy dance in my kitchen!
This is not an antiperspirant, it won’t stop you from sweating but what it does do is gobble up all the nasty little bacteria that cause sweat (which is naturally occurring and has no smell until it hits the outer layer of skin) to become smelly. The two magic ingredients in this formula; zinc ricinoleate and triethyl citrate are both naturally occurring compounds and actually work to eliminate the odour not just cover it up. There are also a few skin loving ingredients in there to ensure that your skin stays happy, I don’t use bicarb soda and I have found the perfect mix of clays that absorb any moisture from the skin without leaving stains on clothing.
I’m actually really proud of this one and if you’re on the side of con give it a go I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
How to Use:
Simply wind the stick until a small amount of product is visible and apply 2 to 3 ‘stripes’ to each underarm, a quick rub in (imagine you’re power-walking and just move your arm back and forth a couple of times) and you’re good to go for the day. It really is too easy. Just remember to click the cap back in place so it doesn’t dry out.

Fractionated Coconut Oil, Babassu Oil, Arrowroot Powder, Diatomaceous Earth, Jojoba Oil, Olive Wax, Cetyl Alcohol, Stearic Acid, Zinc Oxide, Magnesium Hydroxide, Zinc Riconoleate, Fullers Earth Clay, Triethyl Citrate
This product is formulated without the inclusion of animal-derived ingredients, gluten, soy, parabens, artificial colorants 3 and 5, phthalates, PEG compounds, talc, sulfates, mineral oils, palm oil, or microbeads. All of our formulas are made using biodegradable ingredients guaranteed cruelty free and only tested on us (or sometimes our neighbours) but never on animals.
